The elder of the Godesky Brothers, many people have called Jason a “dirty hippie.” He has some objections to this label, since he does not smoke pot, and does not own a single tie-dyed t-shirt. In fact, he finds the entire hippie aesthetic distasteful. They do have a point, though, in that Jason will readily admit to his enthusiasm for anarchy, rewilding, animism, permaculture and radical sustainability. These things influence his gaming life, too. He prefers indie or story games. Along with fellow rewilding radicals like Portland’s Willem Larsen, he has spent time exploring storyjamming as a means of regenerating oral tradition. He has a game of his own in development, called The Fifth World, which he calls “the deep ecologist answer to Star Trek.”
